Program Overview:
The Online Placement Readiness Course is designed to help students build the necessary skills and knowledge to prepare for their job search. The course focuses on providing students with the tools and resources to successfully navigate the job search process.
The course is divided into following modules:
Module 1: Resume Building – This will include key points to follow to create an effective resume
Module 2: Introduction to the Job Search – This module introduces students to the job search process and helps them understand how to prepare for the job search. Topics include identifying career goals, researching employers and creating a resume.
Module 2: Networking and Interviewing – This module helps students learn how to network with potential employers and practice interviewing skills. Topics include creating an elevator pitch, developing a professional network and practicing common interview questions.
Module 3: Negotiating Salary and Benefits – This module helps students understand the importance of salary and benefits negotiations. Topics include researching salary ranges, developing negotiation strategies and understanding the legal implications of salary and benefit negotiations.
Module 4: After the Job Offer – This module helps students understand how to transition into a new role. Topics include preparing to start the new job, understanding the culture of the organization, and preparing for career advancement.
At the end of the course, students will be prepared to successfully search for, apply for, and negotiate for their dream job.
